Experienced Rider 3 day License Course

Our Experienced Rider Licence Training course is designed for riders with some riding experience (more than 6 months on a manual 125cc motorcycle or previous motocross experience). It gives you all the training you need to prepare you for your Motorcycle Licence Practical Tests.

 

The 3 day DAS training course runs over 2 weeks. Training days will be on Sunday and Wednesday the first week and on the Thursday the second week. The course starts on a Sunday for the off road Module 1 training day. The first Module 2 training day (on road) are on the Wednesday when the module 1 Practical Test will be taken too. The second Module 2 training day will be on the following week Thursday and the module 2 Practical Test will be taken late on the same Thursday. By leaving a week between the 2 Practical Tests it allows candidates who don't pass the Module 1 Practical Test on the first attempt to retake it the next Wednesday before the Module 2 Practical Test on the Thursday.

 

The course fees includes bike hire and fuel, fully comprehensive insurance and use of quality Personal Protective Equipment including helmet, jacket, gloves and waterproof over trousers where required. It also includes the cost of the 2 Practical Tests**.

Before you can book this course you must:

  1. have either a provisional UK or Northern Ireland driving licence or a full UK or Northern Ireland driving licence. If you have an EU Licence you must have the D91 counterpart as well.

  2. be able to read a number plate over 20.5 metres (you can wear glasses or contact lenses to do this).

  3. have a current Motorcycle Theory Test certificate.

  4. have a current Compulsory Basic Training (DL196) certificate.

Upon completion of our intensive full licence course and passing the 2 Practical Motorcycle Tests you will be able to ride:

  • Category A1 licence (At least 17 years old and you can ride up to 125cc and 11 kW)

  • Category A2 licence (At least 19 years old and you can ride any motorcycle up to 35kW)

  • Category A licence (At least 24 years old and you can ride any size motorcycle)

** if you fail either of the Practical Tests your retest will be charged the cost of the Practical Test (£15.50 for Module 1 and £75.00 for Module 2) plus half day (£80.00) for training and attendance of the retest.

Intermediate Rider 4 day License Course

Our Intermediate Rider Licence Training course is designed for riders with some riding experience (at least 3 months on a manual 125cc motorcycle). It gives you all the training you need to prepare you for your Motorcycle Licence Practical Tests. The course fees includes bike hire and fuel, fully comprehensive insurance and use of quality Personal Protective Equipment including helmet, jacket, gloves and waterproof over trousers where required. It also includes the cost of the 2 Practical Tests**.

The 4 day DAS training course runs over 2 weeks - on the Sunday and Wednesday the first week and the Wednesday and Thursday on the second week. Novice Rider 5 day CBT plus Full License Course

Our Novice Rider CBT plus Full Licence Training course is designed for riders with no previous riding experience. It gives you all the training you need to obtain your CBT certificate and prepare you for your Motorcycle Licence Practical Tests. The course fees includes bike hire and fuel, fully comprehensive insurance and use of quality Personal Protective Equipment including helmet, jacket, gloves and waterproof over trousers where required. It also includes the cost of the 2 Practical Tests**.

The 5 day training course runs over 2 weeks - on the Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday the first week and on the Wednesday and Thursday during the second week. The course starts on a Saturday for the CBT course followed on the Sunday by the off road Module 1 training day with the first Module 2 (on road) training day on the Wednesday when the module 1 Practical Test will be taken too. The second Module 2 training day will be the following week on the Wednesday and the final Module 2 training day on the Thursday with the module 2 Practical Test taken late on the Thursday. By leaving a week between the 2 Practical Tests it allows candidates who don't pass the Module 1 Practical Test on the first attempt to retake it the next Wednesday before the Module 2 Practical Test on the Thursday.
