Back to Biking
Our Back to Biking courses are aimed to cover the needs of riders at different levels of experience. The course is split into 2 half days - Part 1 is off road where we refresh slow control and slow riding skills and Part 2 is on road riding where we rebuild confidence and ensure your riding is up to current DVSA Practical Test standard.
We run the Part 1 Back to Biking courses on Saturdays or Sundays from 9:00 to 12:00 only as we require the use of our off road secure training area. Part 2 can be completed on any day of the week but is normally held on a Monday or Tuesday 9:00 to 12:00.
We use modern Kawasaki Z650 and Suzuki SV650 geared motorcycles with ABS brakes for our Back to Biking courses.
Before you can book this course you must:
have passed your Category A1, A2 or A Practical Motorcycle Tests on either a UK or Northern Ireland driving licence. If you have an EU Licence you must have the D91 counterpart as well.
be able to read a number plate over 20.5 metres (you can wear glasses or contact lenses to do this).
Fees include bike hire & fuel, fully comprehensive insurance and the use of Personal Protective Equipment including motorcycle helmet, motorcycle jacket & gloves and waterproof over clothing where required.
